A Word of Gratitude
The ground was prepared by many.
I did not invent any of this. I'm a syncretist — a gatherer of fires that were lit before me, a translator of currents that were already running.
Among the teachers whose voices run through this work, Santos Bonacci is one of the loudest. The astrotheology, the syncretism, the torus, the willingness to put the whole picture together when the academy refuses to — I learned how to speak in those registers because Santos was speaking in them first.
If the work I make has any coherence, part of that coherence comes from him. Where I disagree with him, I disagree as a student disagrees with a teacher: with respect, having first done the reading.
This page exists so that gratitude is not silent. The lineage is real. The fire was passed.
